Here is a breakdown of the information to include in a sponsorship proposals and how to Fill out the form bellow.

1. Name of Project/Company Requesting Sponsorship

You do not need to have a name to Apply for Sponsorship, and you can always change your name at anytime as needed.

2. Contact Information

Include the name of the Person of Contact for your Project/Company. Also include your Location/Address, Email, Phone, Website, Facebook, Twitter and any other form of contact info you want to include.

3. Description of Project/Company

Write a few sentences description what you are doing. You can include as many links to as much information as you’d like, but please keep your description to a few sentences. Also include what type of organizational sponsorship you are looking for if you know, but usually it is pretty clear based on what you are doing, and we can confirm this with you before finalizing the proposal.

4. Legal Considerations

Please list all possible current and future aspects of this project that would need legal considerations. This includes everything from HR/personnel, licenses, safety, insurance, food poisoning, existing or future contracts, and anything else you can think of. It is impossible to foresee everything, but just do your best to show us you have at least considered this side of planning.

5. Historical Background

If your Project/Organization/Company has existed for a while, please write a few sentences on its historical background so we understand a little more on how you got to where you are. If you are a new Project/Company then you can just leave this blank.

6. Responsible Parties

Please list the responsible parties involved in Decision Making or ownership of your Project/Company. This will constitute the “Leadership Committee”, “Owners Group”, or equivalent, for your project or Company.  Write a brief sentence on each individual or party, with their background, passion/focus, and/or skills. If you are a Company based on Equity ownership, you need to include the % ownership of each party, or state that you don’t know yet, which basically means split as equal shares, or owned 100% by one person, until that is changed. We also encourage all companies to included at least 20% Community Equity, but that is optional. Click here to learn more about Community Equity.

7. Decision Making

How does your group make decisions. An example would be majority vote. Sometimes a group has a quorum, or minimum number of people who have to be present in order to vote on decisions. For example “Majority Quorum, Majority Vote”. If you have an equity ownership, it might be based on “Majority of total equity %”. If you still aren’t sure, just write a possible option, or that you just don’t know, and we will help figure it out. You can typically change your voting option based on a majority of the decision makers.

8. % of Total Incoming Cash Flow for Umbrella Admin

Please write the % of Total Incoming Cash Flow from your project that would go to cover Umbrella Admin costs. You can choose any % you want, but the lower the % you propose the more information you should give on how your project/company is going to internally run all admin, complete all finances, ensure government filing according to legal policies and organizational procedures. Click Here for more information on % Total Incoming Cash Flow (coming soon. . .)

8. Other Details

For anything that doesn’t fit into the above questions, feel free to explain further details to clarify what the organization is agreeing to. Once approved this proposal will dictate how the organization functions within its relationship as a sponsored organization, and also how it decides to spin off and even can carry into the organization that spins off. So be sure to add additional details to your proposal as needed. If you have more questions just let us know.
