A Non-Profit Joint Venture is a partnership formed between multiple non-profit corporations. The Joint venture itself would have to be approved by each non-profit within the Joint Venture but can all be done with the same proposal. As a joint venture you project would not legally own its assets, and instead the non-profits themselves would have pass through ownership, but the Joint Venture could decide to take a new form that could eventually “spin-off” but it would have to get agreement from all the parent non-profits first. There is no direct cost of a Non-Profit Joint Venture but would still involve a % overall incoming cash flow that would be split between the non-profits that oversee the administrative taxes for the project.
